The two-member unit Rikon Densetsu has released a new music video for their song “Suteki!!”, which is the ending theme of the 2026 remake of High School! Kimengumi. The new anime premiered on January 9, 2026, on Fuji TV.
“Suteki!!” is their second anime song, following “Honjitsu no Osusume” in 2024. The single was released on January 21, 2026, and reached number 22 on the Oricon weekly charts.

The new anime series is based on the comedy manga by Motoei Shinzawa. The story was first published in the 1980s. The original manga series began with Sannen Kimengumi in 1980. Later, when the characters entered high school, the title changed to High School! Kimengumi. The manga ended in 1987. The first TV anime adaptation aired from 1985 to 1987 and had 86 episodes.
Fans can now enjoy the remake of the classic school comedy series, High School! Kimengumi on REMOW’s It’s Anime FAST channels, with new episodes every Friday at 10:00 PM EST.
