In the anime Kairyu to Yubinya-san, the main character, Hana, is voiced by Riko Fukumoto. To celebrate Pokémon Day 2025, the series will be released on the official Pokémon YouTube channel on February 27.
Alongside the cast announcement, a video interview with Fukumoto and a behind-the-scenes video showcasing the dubbing process have been released.

The theme song, “Paper Airplane”, is performed by Suis, the vocalist of Yorushika, with music composed by Evan Call, known for his work on Violet Evergarden and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. In addition to the theme song, Evan Call also composed the anime’s soundtrack. Both the theme song and the full soundtrack will be released on February 27, coinciding with the anime’s premiere.
