Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie -Walpurgisnacht Rising- Set for February 2026 Release in Japan

The release date for “Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie -Walpurgisnacht Rising-” has been officially set for February 2026 in Japan. A second key visual and a new trailer have also been revealed.

The beloved Puella Magi Madoka Magica franchise is returning to television in Japan this fall. The first two compilation films, Beginnings and Eternal, will be re-released as a specially edited TV edition titled “Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Beginnings / Eternal [TV Edition]”.

This new TV edition will begin airing in Japan on Sundays at 5:00 PM JST, starting in October 2025.
