A new intermission clip for Project Sekai the Movie: The Broken World and The Miku Who Can’t Sing has been released. The film, which is scheduled to premiere in Japan on January 17, 2025, presents an original storyline and introduces a fresh interpretation of Hatsune Miku, distinct from her in-game portrayal.
The song “Gunjo Sanka”, composed by Eve for the first anniversary of “HATSUNE MIKU: COLORFUL STAGE,” will also feature in the film. Screenings will run from November 1 to December 19 at 25 Shochiku Multiplex Theaters locations.

Additionally, it was announced that the cast members who will provide character voices in the game, such as Ruriko Noguchi as Hoshino Ichika and Yuki Nakashima as Hinomori Shiho, will also be announced.

The film follows Ichika Hoshino, a high school girl and street musician, who meets an unfamiliar version of Hatsune Miku after hearing a new Miku song in a CD store. This Miku struggles to connect with her audience, so Ichika and Miku join forces to reach people’s hearts through their music.
