Anime studio Pierrot announces a business and capital partnership with Asahi Production Co., Ltd. on April 18, 2025.
Since 2024, Pierrot and Asahi Production have formed a business alliance. We will combine our strengths, Pierrot’s long experience in producing long-running anime as the main contractor, and Asahi Production’s skills in shooting and CG, along with their strong technical and overall abilities.
Thanks to this synergy, the two companies have set up a system that enables them to produce high-quality works on a stable basis. On the strength of the results achieved to date, and with a view to deepening their collaboration, including talent exchanges, Pierrot has decided to acquire shares in Asahi Production, thus sealing a true strategic alliance.
Through this partnership, the two studios aim for mutual growth, while pursuing a common goal: to produce works that meet the expectations of partners and audiences alike.
