Shinya Misu’s Osananajimi to wa Love Comedy ni Naranai is set to receive a TV anime adaptation, scheduled for broadcast in 2026. The anime will be produced by Tezuka Productions.
Alongside the announcement, a teaser visual and a teaser PV have been released. To commemorate the adaptation, the original author, Sanyu, has shared a special congratulatory illustration.

Shinya Misu‘s original manga Osananajimi to wa LoveCome ni Naranai has been serialized on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website since March 2022, with 14 tankōbon volumes released to date.
Childhood Friends Don’t Be a Romantic Comedy is a love triangle rom-com centered around Eeyuu, a high school boy, and his childhood friends, Shio and Akari, who attend the same school. While Eeyuu worries about their relationships, Shio and Akari show no signs of romantic interest, leading him to desperately conceal his own feelings.
