The collaborative episode between the short anime “NMENEKO,” based on Shirimoto‘s original work, and Sega’s iconic character Sonic is set to air on December 11.
The third cour begins airing in October. In the special collaboration episode with Sonic, Tails, Sonic’s companion, also makes an appearance. Episodes are available for free streaming on YouTube for a limited time, though without subtitles.

Nmeneko is a cat who dreams of spending each day in leisure, doing only the things he enjoys. The series, based on Shirimoto’s popular SNS manga depicting the everyday life of Usukuro, has been airing on TBS since April. Entering its third cour, the anime will also feature episodes inspired by the autumn season.
