Nintama Rantaro is a comedic anime series based on Sobe Amako‘s manga « Rakudai Ninja Rantaro. » Originally serialized in the Asahi Shogakusei Shimbun from April 1986 to October 2019, the manga enjoyed a 33-year run. The story follows young ninja trainees as they attend a ninjutsu academy with the goal of becoming top-tier ninjas.
