A clip from the anime short film Nezumikozo Jirokichi was recently unveiled. The film is currently screening at the indie-centric Eurospace theater in Shibuya, where it will be showing until December 6 JST.

The new project from the legendary Rintaro following a fourteen-year break from directing, this short film follows the creation of the film Nezumikozô Jirokichi: Edo no Maki (1933) by Sadao Yamanaka, a Japanese filmmaker who died in 1938 at the age of 28 and who played an essential role in the transition of Japanese cinema from silent movies to talkies.
