The anime New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT is set to air and stream in July. A new character trailer and the voice cast for additional characters were unveiled during a stage event at AnimeJapan 2025, held at Tokyo Big Sight on March 22.

Studio TRIGGER officially acquired the original rights to GAINAX’s Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt anime, and are starting a new anime project entitled “New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT“.
The first season of Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt aired in Japan in 2010, produced by Gainax with Hiroyuki Imaishi (Promare, Kill la Kill) as director.
