To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ashi Productions (Fairy Princess Minky Momo), the studio has announced a brand-new Minky Momo OVA. This will be the first new project for the series in 31 years.
So far, only one visual and new character art have been revealed. The design shows the original heroine from the first season, often called “Sky Momo” by fans. The anime originally had two different versions of Momo. While they shared similar powers and goals, they were separate characters with different personalities and voices.
Character Art:

The first Fairy Princess Minky Momo TV series aired in 1982, with Mami Koyama voicing Momo. A second series followed in 1992, starring Megumi Hayashibara as a new version of the character. Both TV series are currently available on Crunchyroll:
As humans lose sight of their dreams, Fenarinarsa, the land of dreams in the sky, is in danger of drifting away from Earth. In hopes of saving their land, the king and queen of Fenarinarsa send their daughter, Momo, to Earth to revive the dreams of mankind. With her transformative powers and loyal companions, the magical girl embarks on a quest to spread joy.
