The original anime Cosmic Princess Kaguya! will stream exclusively on Netflix worldwide starting January 22, 2026. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Shingo Yamashita, best known for creating opening sequences for hit series such as JUJUTSU KAISEN, Chainsaw Man, and Urusei Yatsura.
The theme song and soundtrack that bring the story to life are created by a lineup of renowned Vocaloid producers, led by ryo (supercell) the mastermind behind the iconic Hatsune Miku hit “Melt” — alongside kz (livetune), 40mP, HoneyWorks, Aqu3ra, and yuigot.
