The second promotional video for the anime NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE has been released. The PV also reveals the casting of Anna Nagase as a new character, Kache. The anime will begin screening in Japanese theaters on March 6, ahead of its television broadcast, which is scheduled to start in April 2026.
It was also announced that the opening theme will be “INTERNET ANGEL”, performed by Aiobahn +81 and sung by OMGkawaiiAngel. A preview of the song can be heard in the newly released PV.

The first-week visitor bonuses for the theatrical advance screening of “NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE -OVERTURE-“ have been revealed. From March 6 to March 13, starting on the film’s release day, attendees will receive an instant photo-style card featuring a character draft alongside a brand-new illustration, released for the first time in a while. Each visitor will receive a set of two cards, with one card randomly selected from four different designs.
Additionally, a stage greeting event was held on March 7 at Theater Shinjuku in Tokyo, featuring the main cast. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale from February 13.

NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE originally launched on Windows and macOS on January 21, 2022, followed by a Nintendo Switch release in October the same year. The game later arrived on PlayStation 4 and 5 on January 20, 2025. According to the anime’s official website, the title has surpassed 3 million downloads worldwide, while its music has accumulated over 400 million streams.

NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD is a “multi-ending ADV” depicting daily life with “OMGkawaiiAngel”, a young girl with a rather extreme need for approval attempting to become the #1 “Internet Angel” (streamer). Gradually build up OMGkawaiiAngel’s number of followers as she spends her days streaming, using various ”stress relievers”, and generally being kinda messed up. Experience all the different crazy ups and downs and find out for yourself whether this story is even capable of having a happy ending.
