Mysterious Disappearances Unveils Its 1st Trailer, New Cast Members and Key Visual Revealed!

A bit of thrill in store for 2024!

Mysterious Disappearances previously announced, has unveiled the main trailer in anticipation of its premiere next year. Zero-G (Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove it) is responsible for the animation, with Tomomi Mochizuki (Ranma ½, season 1 director) serving as both the director and scriptwriter for the anime.

Eri Yukimura as Oto Adashino
Yui Horie as Manami Uname

Previously announced cast members
Fairouz Ai as Sumireko Ogawa
Daiki Yamashita as Ren Adashino.

The anime is based on a manga series written and illustrated by Nujima. It has been published on Shogakukan’s Yawaraka Spirits website since October 2019.

Kadokawa presents its manga as follows:
Ogawa Sumireko is a busty bookstore clerk who wants to become a novelist after some writing success in her youth. When strange occurrences start cropping up around the city, she teams up with her flirtatious co-worker Adashino Ren to look into them. But Ren is hiding a secret of his own! With their combined skills of occult knowledge, what will they discover as they investigate?
