My Melody & Kuromi Stop-Motion Series Coming to Netflix on July 24

When disaster comes, they have to team up to save Mariland!

Sanrio‘s beloved characters take center stage in My Melody & Kuromi, a charming new stop-motion anime series premiering globally on Netflix, July 24. Produced by TORUKU of WIT STUDIO, the series will feature 12 episodes, each approximately 13 minutes long. The theme song, “Kawaii (Prod. Gen Hoshino),” is performed by LE SSERAFIM.

My Melody opens a cake shop in Mariland. After encountering a pink heart in the forest, strange things start happening around her. Meanwhile, Kuromi’s Japanese sweets shop across the street is always empty. Kuromi searches for the secret to My Melody’s cakes. My Melody and Kuromi work hard to prepare for a sweets-making contest judged by the world-famous pastry chef Pistachio. However, no one knows that this will lead to an incident that threatens the fate of Mariland.
