The Blu-ray and DVD release of My Hero Academia: You’re Next, arriving on February 19, 2025. An anime adaptation of Kohei Horikoshi‘s original manga short story, A PIECE OF CAKE. Produced by Studio Bones, this special bonus features newly-recorded performances by the series’ cast.
A PIECE OF CAKE originally appeared in the Vol. Next special comic, given to theatergoers during the film’s release. This charming short story offers a lighthearted glimpse into the everyday lives of Class 1-A, serving as a prologue that seamlessly leads into the intense and heroic events of the movie, featuring Deku, Bakugo, and their classmates.

In a society where heroes and villains continuously battle in the name of peace and chaos, Deku, a U.A. High Class 1-A protect the world by putting an end to Dark Might, the man claiming to be the new Symbol of Peace?
The manga started its serialization in “Weekly Shonen Jump” in July 2014 and concluded on August 5, 2024. The TV anime premiered its first season in April 2016, followed by multiple seasons and movies.
