The final season of My Hero Academia is currently underway. Today, November 22, episode 8 (No. 167), titled “Izuku Midoriya: Rising,” which depicts the climax of the final battle, was broadcast.

With only three episodes remaining, the story will enter its epilogue starting with the November 29 broadcast. The theatrical screening event aims to build excitement for the season’s conclusion. It will include a retrospective of episodes 1–8 (No.160–167), which cover the final battle, followed by episodes 9 and 10 (No.168, 169), which begin the epilogue. The final episode 11 (No.170) will then be shown live in sync with the TV broadcast.

Since its debut in 2016, My Hero Academia has become a phenomenon. Now, as the final season looms, viewers are both excited and heartbroken to say goodbye to the characters and world that have become a part of their lives.

The final season of My Hero Academia marks the end of an era, both for anime fans and for the superhero genre in general. As we look forward to 2025, anticipation builds for the epic conclusion to one of the most influential anime series of its generation

Kohei Horikoshi‘s original manga series debuted in Shueisha‘s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on July 7, 2014, and concluded on August 4. All the released seasons are currently available for streaming on Crunchyroll!

Izuku has dreamt of being a hero all his life—a lofty goal for anyone, but especially challenging for a kid with no superpowers. That’s right, in a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered “quirk,” Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal. But that’s not enough to stop him from enrolling in one of the world’s most prestigious hero academies.
