The main visual, promotional video, and additional cast for Season 2 of the anime My Dress-Up Darling based on Shinichi Fukuda’s popular manga have been unveiled. The long-awaited new season is set to premiere on July 5, streaming exclusively on Crunchyroll.
The newly released PV features the opening theme “Ao to Kirameki” by Spira Spica, and the ending theme “Kawaii Kaiwai” performed by PiKi, a brand-new idol unit formed by Karen Matsumoto of FRUITS ZIPPER and Haruka Sakuraba of CUTIE STREET.

Shinichi Fukuda’s popular manga, serialized in Young GANGAN (SQUARE ENIX) and available on Manga UP!, is getting another anime adaptation once again brought to life by CloverWorks. Crunchyroll streams the first season and describes the series as follows:
Wakana Gojo is a high school boy who wants to become a kashirashi–a master craftsman who makes traditional Japanese Hina dolls. Though he’s gung-ho about the craft, he knows nothing about the latest trends, and has a hard time fitting in with his class. The popular kids–especially one girl, Marin Kitagawa–seem like they live in a completely different world. That all changes one day, when she shares an unexpected secret with him, and their completely different worlds collide.
