My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 Reveals ED Theme Song Artist

The ending theme song for Season 2 of the TV anime My Dress-Up Darling, based on Shinichi Fukuda’s manga, has been officially announced. Titled “Kawaii Kaiwai”, the song will be performed by PiKi, a brand-new idol unit featuring Karen Matsumoto from FRUITS ZIPPER and Haruka Sakuraba from CUTIE STREET.

The highly anticipated new season will premiere on July 5, streaming exclusively on Crunchyroll.

Shinichi Fukuda’s popular manga, serialized in Young GANGAN (SQUARE ENIX) and available on Manga UP!, is getting another anime adaptation once again brought to life by CloverWorks. Crunchyroll streams the first season and describes the series as follows:

Wakana Gojo is a high school boy who wants to become a kashirashi–a master craftsman who makes traditional Japanese Hina dolls. Though he’s gung-ho about the craft, he knows nothing about the latest trends, and has a hard time fitting in with his class. The popular kids–especially one girl, Marin Kitagawa–seem like they live in a completely different world. That all changes one day, when she shares an unexpected secret with him, and their completely different worlds collide.
