Mieruko-chan Live-Action Movie Teased in BABYMONSTER’s “Ghost” Lyric Video

The live-action is set to release in Japan on June 6, 2025.

A new lyric video has been released, blending scenes from the upcoming live-action film Mieruko-chan, written by Tomoki Izumi, with the lyrics of its theme song “Ghost” performed by BABYMONSTER. The film is scheduled for release in Japan on June 6, 2025.

Yoshihiro Nakamura, known for his works such as Fish StoryA Boy and His SamuraiProphecy, and Mumon: The Land of Stealth, will be both writing and directing the film.

Serialization started in 2018, and the manga has released a total of 10 volumes. It has garnered over 85 million views and has a cumulative domestic circulation exceeding 3 million copies. Additionally, a TV anime adaptation aired in 2021.
