A live-action film adaptation of Tomoki Izumi‘s “Mieruko-Chan” has been announced, featuring Nanoka Hara in the lead role of Miko Yotsuya. The film is set to be released in early summer 2025.
Yoshihiro Nakamura, known for his works such as Fish Story, A Boy and His Samurai, Prophecy, and Mumon: The Land of Stealth, will be both writing and directing the film.

Serialization started in 2018, and the manga has released a total of 10 volumes. It has garnered over 85 million views and has a cumulative domestic circulation exceeding 3 million copies. Additionally, a TV anime adaptation aired in 2021.
