Season 2 of the anime Little Shark’s Day Out, based on the original work by Penguin Box, has officially been announced. The new season is scheduled to stream on YouTube starting in April 2026.
To celebrate the announcement, a teaser promotional video and a teaser visual have been released. In addition, Penguin Box shared a special congratulatory illustration in honor of the series’ continuation.

Little Shark is a heartfelt story set in the nostalgic town of Yayucho. It follows a baby shark and his friends as they head out on everyday adventures. Alongside the sequential release of 60 anime episodes starting in August 2023, the feature film Little Shark’s Day Out was released in August 2025.
