The upcoming TV anime “Little Mouse’s Red Vest” has released its first teaser promotional video. The anime’s theme song is titled “Good Luck! My Friend feat. Tsuyoshi Muro & Sakana-kun”. The song is performed by the famous Japanese band Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra.
The TV anime will premiere on NHK E-TV on April 4. Kenjiro Tsuda voices Nezumi-kun, while Mamiko Noto voices Nemi-chan.

Little Mouse’s Red Vest is based on the picture book series written by Yoshio Nakae and illustrated by Noriko Ueno, originally published by POPLAR Publishing, Inc. in 1974, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2024.
The story of the red vest tells a humorous and heartwarming tale through the adventures of the main character, Nezumi-kun, and his friends. In the anime adaptation, the delicate and simple charm of Nezumi-kun and the other characters is faithfully preserved. The anime is fully realized in CG to capture the unique look and atmosphere of the original picture books.
