The TV anime Little Mouse’s Red Vest will premiere on NHK E-TV on April 4. Kenjiro Tsuda voices Nezumi-kun, while Mamiko Noto voices Nemi-chan. Alongside the announcement, the staff and key visual have also been revealed.

Little Mouse’s Red Vest is based on the picture book series written by Yoshio Nakae and illustrated by Noriko Ueno, originally published by POPLAR Publishing, Inc. in 1974, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2024.
The story of the red vest tells a humorous and heartwarming tale through the adventures of the main character, Nezumi-kun, and his friends. In the anime adaptation, the delicate and simple charm of Nezumi-kun and the other characters is faithfully preserved. The anime is fully realized in CG to capture the unique look and atmosphere of the original picture books.
