The Chinese animated series Left-hand Layup!, produced by Studio HEART&SOUL, is set to premiere on Crunchyroll next week, streaming from April 23 at 2:00 p.m. PT.

Left-hand Layup! anime premiered on Tencent Video in China in February 2023, with the second part released in December 2024. The series is described as follows:

Xu Xing Ze is an impassioned basketball phenom hoping to become the best there ever was. His dreams of playing on the championship team are dashed when his sister accidentally enrolls him in a lower-ranked school with a similar-sounding name. Now, it’s up to Xu and his ragtag group of friends to prove themselves on the court against some of the top teams and players in the region.
