Yuritaro, the creator of Kaya-chan Isn’t Scary, shared a special illustration today in celebration of “Ghost Day” on July 26. The anime adaptation still doesn’t have a confirmed release date.

The story centers on Kaya, a well-known troublemaker in her kindergarten class, and her teacher, Chie, who has been asked to keep a close eye on her. One day, Kaya unexpectedly pushes her friend off the swing. While it appears to be a cruel act, it turns out that Kaya possesses a secret ability to see spirits.
