The third season of the TV anime JUJUTSU KAISEN, based on Gege Akutami’s original manga, will premiere on January 8, 2026, covering the “Culling Game Part 1” arc. The series will be streamed on Crunchyroll.
Voice actor Koji Yusa joins the cast as Naoya Zenin, and to mark the announcement, a special character video and a teaser visual have been released.

JUJUTSU KAISEN: Execution -Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins- that started screening today in Japan, November 7th, combines a special edited version of the “Shibuya Incident” arc from Season 2 with Episodes 1 and 2 of “Culling Game Part 1”.
Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures has announced its acquisition of distribution rights for JUJUTSU KAISEN: Execution -Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins-.

The new season begins broadcasting January 2026. In “The Culling Game,” Yuta Okkotsu, the special grade jujutsu sorcerer and protagonist of “JUJUTSU KAISEN 0,” enters the fray as an executioner, turning his blade toward Itadori. “The Cursed Two,” bound by a shared mentor, ignite one of the most iconic and ferocious battles from the original manga, soon to be brought vividly to life on screen. This marks the first encounter between the two protagonists, leading to an epic clash of cursed energies.
Crunchyroll is streaming the season 1 & 2 of the JUJUTSU KAISEN anime alongside the anime film, JUJUTSU KAISEN 0. Crunchyroll describes the first arc of the season 2, the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc, as such:
The past comes to light when second-year students Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto are tasked with escorting young Riko Amanai to Master Tengen.
