Anime fans across North America are in for a treat JUJUTSU KAISEN: Execution -Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins- will receive special early IMAX screenings on December 3, ahead of its general release.
The film is set to premiere in Japan on November 7, with a North American release scheduled for December 5.
JUJUTSU KAISEN: Execution is a special feature that combines the best of the “Shibuya Incident” arc with the debut of the first two episodes of Season 3’s “Culling Game” arc in this exclusive theatrical event.

Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures has announced its acquisition of distribution rights for JUJUTSU KAISEN: Execution -Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins- in select territories including UK and Ireland, EMEA, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific for the upcoming film.

The new season begins broadcasting January 2026. In “The Culling Game,” Yuta Okkotsu, the special grade jujutsu sorcerer and protagonist of “JUJUTSU KAISEN 0,” enters the fray as an executioner, turning his blade toward Itadori. “The Cursed Two,” bound by a shared mentor, ignite one of the most iconic and ferocious battles from the original manga, soon to be brought vividly to life on screen. This marks the first encounter between the two protagonists, leading to an epic clash of cursed energies.
Crunchyroll is streaming the season 1 & 2 of the JUJUTSU KAISEN anime alongside the anime film, JUJUTSU KAISEN 0. Crunchyroll describes the first arc of the season 2, the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc, as such:
The past comes to light when second-year students Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto are tasked with escorting young Riko Amanai to Master Tengen.
