The upcoming theatrical JUJUTSU KAISEN: Execution -Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins has officially revealed a new addition to its cast. Acclaimed voice actress Yoshiko Sakakibara will join the production as Tengen, while also providing narration.
The film combines a special edited version of the “Shibuya Incident” arc from Season 2 with Episodes 1 and 2 of “Culling Game Part 1”, the upcoming third season set to premiere in January 2026.
The theatrical event is heading to North American theaters this December. The rollout will begin with a special IMAX Early Access Fan Event on Wednesday, December 3, featuring a one-night-only screening across 100 IMAX screens nationwide. A wider nationwide release will follow on Friday, December 5.

Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures has announced its acquisition of distribution rights for JUJUTSU KAISEN: Execution -Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins- in select territories including UK and Ireland, EMEA, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific for the upcoming film.

The new season begins broadcasting January 2026. In “The Culling Game,” Yuta Okkotsu, the special grade jujutsu sorcerer and protagonist of “JUJUTSU KAISEN 0,” enters the fray as an executioner, turning his blade toward Itadori. “The Cursed Two,” bound by a shared mentor, ignite one of the most iconic and ferocious battles from the original manga, soon to be brought vividly to life on screen. This marks the first encounter between the two protagonists, leading to an epic clash of cursed energies.
Crunchyroll is streaming the season 1 & 2 of the JUJUTSU KAISEN anime alongside the anime film, JUJUTSU KAISEN 0. Crunchyroll describes the first arc of the season 2, the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc, as such:
