Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Season 5 Announced for Fall 2024!

The broadcast date for the fifth season of the TV anime “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?” (Danmachi) has been set for the fall 2024. The subtitle of the fifth season is “The Goddess of Harvest Arc”. New character visuals of Bell, Syr, and Hestia have also been released.

Warner Bros. Japan revealed that the book franchise, comprising novels and manga, has a circulation of 17 million copies worldwide, emphasizing that this figure represents the total number in circulation, rather than copies sold.

The original light novels Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? are published in Japan by SB Creative under the GA Bunko imprint, and an English version is also available from Yen Press. Crunchyroll is broadcasting seasons 2 and 3, and describes the story as follows:

Based off of a light novel of the same name written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda, Is It Wrong to Try and Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? is set in the world of Orario, where adventurers band together and look for treasures in an underground labyrinth known as Dungeon. However, for Bell Cranel, fame and riches are secondary to what he wants to find the most: girls. He soon finds out though, that anything can happen in Dungeon, and winds up being the damsel in distress instead!
