The teaser promotional video and teaser visual for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of IRON WOK JAN by Shinji Saijō have been unveiled. The main cast has also been announced: Kikunosuke Toya will voice Jan Akiyama, Ikumi Hasegawa will play Kiriko Gobancho, Kohei Amazaki will appear as Takao Okonogi, and Kenjiro Tsuda will serve as the narrator.

“Iron Wok Jan!!” is “Cooking is a game!”, a Chinese food manga known for its intense and unconventional cooking battles. The story follows a young chef with a strong personal creed who faces many unique and rival chefs.
The manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion (Akita Shoten) from 1995 to 2000. In 2025, the series celebrates its 30th anniversary. The original series is now available in a 13-volume digital edition. Sequels and spin-off have also been published, including Iron Wok Jan! R: The Summit Operations and Iron Wok Jan! 2nd. The total circulation of the franchise has exceeded 10 million copies.
