AnimeTV: Could you please introduce yourself to our readers?!

VK Blanka: Hey guys, VK Blanka here. I’ve done two theme songs for “Black Clover,” and have also worked on plenty of other anime and movie theme songs.

A new album, “Knightclub”, is now finally out ! Tell us frankly how you feel about it now.

VK Blanka: I’m so happy. It’s wonderful being able to envision a future where so many people can listen to it.

With so many songs, we were wondering how you were going to get them all on one album?

VK Blanka: When you write with a concept in mind, it all comes together as one cohesive work. I think the album I’ve put together is lively, colorful, and vibrant.

Do you have a favorite song from your album? At AnimeTV, we love “Bitter” music.

VK Blanka “Bitter” Music Video:

VK Blanka: Thanks for saying you like “Bitter”. It’s one of my favorites too. I wrote it as a theme song for a movie, and it helped me to notice how kind I can be. Composing is a truly mysterious thing.

What music from your album would you recommend for a first listen?

VK Blanka: It’s hard to choose… Every song has a life of its own. I’m sure whichever song meant the most important to you when you listen to it is the track that was destined for you.

Very recently, you’ve really been traveling with shows all over the place, touring North America, Latin America and also at Anime Friends in Brazil. What memories do you have of your performances abroad?

VK Blanka: I have so many. I was happy to see that even in countries far from Japan, people were listening to my songs, not just the ones that were anime themes.

Could you share a funny story from touring abroad in the past?

VK Blanka: In Mexico when I came on stage holding up some tequila a fan gave me before the show, the crowd started chanting “Shot! Shot!” non-stop. So, for the first time ever, I drank tequila during a concert. It was the most eccentric show I’ve ever had.

Were there any locations that had a particularly strong impact?

VK Blanka: Every country left a strong impression, but my memories of Latin America, which I visited most recently, are especially vivid. My song “Never Run” was inspired by my North American tour, and it was so impressive when everyone sang along to it during my shows in Latin America.

Where would you like to go next?

VK Blanka: I’ve never been to Southeast Asia and would love to go there. I’d also like to do solo concerts in Europe.

What should fans look forward to in your upcoming tour?

VK Blanka: I’m putting together the ultimate set list that includes tracks from “Knightclub.” It’s definitely going to be a special day, so I hope you all look forward to it. And I’ll keep making more music. Life with VK Blanka will never be boring, I can promise you that.

Do you have anything else you would like to say to your fans?

VK Blanka: Thank you for always listening to my music. See you in your country soon!
