A special report video has been released for the live-action adaptation of In the Clear Moonlit Dusk, based on the manga by Mika Yamamori. The film is scheduled to be released in Japan on October 23. Shunsuke Michieda will star as Kohaku Ichimura, while Seira Anzai will play Yoi Takiguchi.
The film will be directed by Kentaro Takemura, known for the live-action drama series TRILLION GAME. The screenplay is written by Yuichi Tokunaga, who previously worked on the live-action adaptation of Cells at Work!.

The original manga is currently serialized in Dessert, published by Kodansha. It ranked first at the 2023 ebookjapan Manga Awards and received the Grand Prize at the 2nd Minna no Oshi Romance Manga Awards. The series has surpassed 7.5 million copies in cumulative circulation worldwide. Since January, its TV anime adaptation has been airing across Japan on all 28 stations of TBS.
