Houkago Kitaku Biyori Gets Anime Adaptation

A heartfelt story of dreams and friendship.

The announcement has been made that an anime adaptation of Mai Matsuda‘s Houkago Kitaku Biyori is in the works, though further details have yet to be revealed.

Volume 1:

The popular manga, serialized in Manga Action (Futabasha), has just unveiled its latest four tankōbon volumes today, March 27 in Japan.

Volume 4:

Houkago Kitaku Biyori is a heartwarming coming-of-age romantic comedy set in a high school homecoming club. The story follows Shun Sato, a young boy who, after an injury derailed his soccer dreams, enters a new high school. There, he crosses paths with Naoki Sato, a senior with a unique habit of frequently saying, “I want to go home.” Through a twist of fate, Naoki invites Shun to join the “Hyper Homecoming Club,”.
