The anime HOPPECHAN -Mystery of the Sun Kingdom and the Black-Cheek Team– will begin broadcasting in Japan on Saturday, January 10. A new key visual and promotional video have been released to celebrate the announcement. The ending theme song will be performed by Amuse Dolce.

The anime follows two stories:
- In the magical Sun Kingdom, a Hoppe-chan with no memories joins a fight against dark, “uncute” slimes.
- In the real world, a tired office worker named Hoho feels lost and sad.
As the story goes on, these two worlds will begin to connect.
