HAIKYU!! Anime 10th Anniversary -Connecting- Project New Visuals Features Aoba Johsai, Date Tech, Shiratorizawa and Fukurōdani!

Each play is visually "connected"

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the “HAIKYU!!” anime by Haruichi Furudate, the second installment of the “-Connecting- School Visuals” has been released.

The theme of the anniversary project is “connecting”. The new “school visuals” that draws down the characters of the main schools has been unveiled. Each play is visually “connected”. The visuals feature the setter Toru Oikawa and spiker Hajime Iwaizumi of Aoba Johsai High:

Takanobu Aone and Kenji Futaguchi of Date Tech High:

Wakatoshi Ushijima and Satoru Tendo of Shiratorizawa High School:

From its release in theaters on February 16th, “HAIKYU!! The Dumpster Battle” garnered impressive numbers over its 75-day run until April 30th, with attendance figures reaching 6.99 million viewers and box office earnings soaring to 10 billion yen.

Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment present HAIKYU!! The Dumpster Battle, to be released in cinemas worldwide from May 30.

Shoyo Hinata joins Karasuno High’s volleyball club to be like his idol, a former Karasuno player known as the “Little Giant.” But, Hinata soon finds that he must team up with his middle school nemesis, Tobio Kageyama. Their clashing styles turn into a surprising weapon, but can they beat their rival Nekoma High in the highly anticipated “Dumpster Battle,” the long awaited ultimate showdown between two opposing underdog teams?

Toho animation returns to produce the two Haikyu!! FINAL anime films with the animation continuing to be made by the team at Production I.G. Haikyu!! FINAL anime film’s first of two parts, is subtitled “Gomisuteba no Kessen” (The Dumpster Battle). Crunchyroll is streaming all four TV anime seasons of the Haikyu!! adaptation and describes the series as follows:

Based off of the original Weekly Shonen Jump manga series from Haruichi Furudate, Haikyu!! is a slice-of-life sports anime revolving around Shoyo Hinata’s love of volleyball. Inspired by a small-statured pro volleyball player, Hinata creates a volleyball team in his last year of middle school. Unfortunately the team is matched up against the “King of the Court” Tobio Kageyama’s team in their first tournament and inevitably lose. After the crushing defeat, Hinata vows to surpass Kageyama After entering high school, Hinata joins the volleyball team only to find that Tobio has also joined.
