Haigakura Anime Reveals New Key Visual, OP & ED Theme Song Information!

A new key visual for the TV anime “Haigakura” by Shinobu Takayama has been released. The anime is set to begin this October 2024. 

The theme song was also announced. MADKID‘s “Chaser” was chosen as the opening theme, and “Phoenix” by Hikaru Makishima was chosen as the ending theme.

The anime adaptation draws its inspiration from Shinobu Takayama’s manga series, initially serialized in Ichijinsha’s Comic Zero Sum WARD magazine from January 16, 2008, to May 16, 2015. Later, it continued its serialization on Zero-Sum Online starting September 18, 2015. By August 2023, the manga comprised sixteen tankoubon volumes.

In the Immortal Realm, where both Immortals and humans reside, the story centers on Ichiyou, a poet seeking the malevolent god, who threatens the realm’s collapse. Alongside Ichiyou is a middle-level god with forgotten memories, engaging in a battle against formidable odds.
