Gundam Takes Over New York City with Exclusive Events and Visual for NYCC 2025

Bandai Namco Filmworks has unveiled a stunning new commemorative visual titled “Barbatos Rises at NYC”, created exclusively for New York Comic Con (NYCC) and a series of Gundam activations across New York City this fall.

The artwork, featuring the iconic Gundam Barbatos towering over Manhattan, will serve as the centerpiece for this year’s Gundam celebrations and mark an unprecedented, city-wide fan experience.

From October 4–19, New York will transform into a hub for Gundam enthusiasts, with activities ranging from director signings at NYCC, a Gundam Film Festival at Japan Society, to Gundam-wrapped buses cruising Manhattan streets.

NYCC Exclusive: Director Autograph Session

Fans have a rare opportunity to meet Tatsuyuki Nagai, director of Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans.

From September 28 to October 12, Gundam-wrapped buses will traverse New York City, with select routes offering free rides. Fans will get a city-wide Gundam experience like never before.

From October 4–19, the Gundam Base Pop-Up will land at American Dream Mall, featuring:
