Bandai Namco Filmworks and Fathom Entertainment have officially unveiled “Gundam Premiere Night“, a special double-feature celebration coming to theaters across North America on January 12, 13, and 15, 2026.
Spanning three exclusive nights, the event brings together new animated works, a 4K theatrical revival, and behind-the-scenes insights tailored for both longtime fans and newcomers to the Gundam universe.
A Packed Screening Lineup
The event will feature a rich program highlighting two major Gundam milestones:
• Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans – Urdr-Hunt: Path of the Little Challenger:
“Path of the Little Challenger” compiles the animated story segments from Urdr Hunt, a spin-off game of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. Originally released as 12 episodes via the now-closed mobile app IBO G, the compilation film premiered in Japan on October 31.

• Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz – Special Edition (4K Remaster):
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz – Special Edition is a feature-length compilation of the three-episode Endless Waltz OVA, serving as a direct sequel to the Gundam Wing television series.

STORY:
Gjallarhorn’s political intervention into the Arbrau central parliament escalated into an armed conflict using mobile suits. The incident was brought to an end by Tekkadan, a group of boys from Mars.
News of Tekkadan’s exploits has also reached the ears of Wistario Afam, who was born and raised at the Radonitsa Colony near Venus. Venus, which lost to Mars in the development race, is a remote frontier planet in which the four great economic blocs show little interest. It is now used only as a penal colony for criminals, and its inhabitants don’t even have IDs.
Then Wistario, who wants to improve the conditions in this homeland, encounters a girl who claims to be the guide to the Urdr-Hunt.
“Congratulations. You’re qualified to enter the Urdr-Hunt.”
Drawn in by this encounter, Wistario now stands at the threshold of the Urdr-Hunt, a race which offers a prize vast enough to easily purchase a whole colony.

STORY:
The world has renounced armament and is following the path of peace. Then Mariemaia, Treize’s daughter, appears as the leader of a mysterious army and launches an armed uprising to seize control of the Earth Sphere. Heero and the others must pilot their Gundams one last time to restore peace.
