GUILTY GEAR STRIVE Fighting Game TV Anime Officially Announced!

The anime will feature a new story.

Arc System Works‘ fighting game “GUILTY GEAR” will be adapted into a TV anime for the first time in the series. The new production, titled “GUILTY GEAR STRIVE: DUAL RULERS” has been officially announced.

The teaser visual for the TV anime adaptation showcases the series’ iconic characters, Sol BadGuy and Sin Kiske, with a mysterious girl appearing in the background.

The GUILTY GEAR STRIVE: DUAL RULERS stage event will take place at Anime Expo 2024 on July 4th from 11:30 AM to 12:20 PM (local time, USA). The event will feature a panel with Kaiho, Mizushima, and Ken Miyauchi, and will include updates on the anime.

GUILTY GEAR STRIVE the newest installment in Arc System Works’ fighting game series that debuted in 1998, features a 2D/3D hybrid, cell-shaded visual style. The game is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Game Pass, and Steam.

Head into the final confrontation with That Man, the person responsible for all the destruction and damage to the world and and it’s inhabitants. Join Sol Badguy, his rival Ky Kiske, and a total starting roster of 15 unique characters as they face the astonishing conclusion to a story 20 years in the making!
