If you’re wondering why UNDEAD UNLUCK has fans all aflutter, here’s the lowdown. It’s not just any anime. Picture this: a girl named Fuuko with the (un)lucky charm of bringing misfortune through touch, and Andy, the undying guy who’s had enough of eternity. When fate ties these two together, you bet there’s going to be fireworks!

It has been confirmed that the anime adaptation of Yoshifumi Tozuka‘s Weekly Shonen Jump manga series will be broadcast in consecutive 2-cour!

Yoshifumi Tozuka is the creator of UNDEAD UNLUCK. He made his manga debut with the one-shot Uchuu Kankou C-Arc (Cosmic Arc Travel), which was published in Jump Next! in May 2014. Undead Unluck, his first series, began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in January 2020.

TMS Entertainment is producing and working on planning for the series and describes the UNDEAD UNLUCK as such:

What happens when an unlucky girl meets an undead guy? Pure chaos!

Tired of inadvertently killing people with her special ability Unluck, Fuuko Izumo sets out to end it all. But when she meets Andy, a man who longs for death but can’t die, she finds a reason to live—and he finds someone capable of giving him the death he’s been longing for
