The main visual for the upcoming TV anime Goodbye, Lara has been revealed, along with a promotional video introducing the character Mari Otsu, voiced by Nana Kawaishi. Produced by Kinema Citrus, this original series celebrates the studio’s 15th anniversary and is set to premiere in 2026.

Goodbye, Lara follows the journey of Lara, a mermaid princess in search of “true love.” Two centuries ago, she fell in love with a human prince, but their love remained unfulfilled. Heartbroken, she vanished into a bubble. Now, 200 years later, she is mysteriously reborn as a human in Lake Biwa, Shiga Prefecture, and begins her quest anew.
