Japanese rock band GLAY has released an anime-style music video for their 63rd single, “Dead or Alive”, now the opening theme for Record of Ragnarok Season 3. The CD single, released on December 3, debuted at #6 on Oricon’s weekly singles chart.

The first season of the anime adaptation of Record of Ragnarok premiered in 2021, followed by the second season in 2023. The third season began streaming worldwide on Netflix on December 10, 2025.

The anime is adapted from the manga published by Coamix, written by Shinya Umemura, illustrated by Ajichika, and composed by Takumi Fukui. The series began in 2017 and has reached 25 tankōbon volumes.
