GIRLS BAND CRY Theatrical Compilation Reveals Key Visual and Teaser Trailer

Crunchyroll currently streams the anime.

The key visual and teaser trailer for the two-part theatrical compilation of GIRLS BAND CRY have been unveiled. Part one is set to premiere on October 3rd, followed by part two on November 14th in theaters across Japan.

The anime is directed by Kazuo Sakai at Toei Animation, Jukki Hanada handles series composition, nari Terashima is responsible for character designs, Jae Hoon Jung oversees CG direction, and Kenji Tamai is in charge of music production, with Yusuke Tanaka providing the accompanying music.

Synopsis, according to the official website:

The main character drops out of high school in her second year, and aims at entering a university while working alone in Tokyo.

A girl is betrayed by her friends and doesn’t know what to do.

Another girl is abandoned by her parents, and tries to survive in the city by doing part-time jobs.

This world lets us down all the time.

Nothing goes as planned.

But we want something that we can continue to like.

We believe there’s a place where we belong. That’s why we sing.
