The re-edited version of the popular anime series Gintama, titled Gintama on Theater 2D: Kintama-hen—a theatrical cut of episodes 253–256—will be screened in theaters for a limited three-week run starting November 22. The trailer has just been released!

The third film is a continuation of two previous compilation movies that covered the Thorny Arc and the Courtesan of a Nation Arc. The Kintama Arc, which was featured in the anime, originally aired in episodes 253 to 256 in October 2012.

In a world where aliens have invaded Edo Period Japan, skyscrapers, trains and motor bikes have replaced the simple life of Earth inhabitants. One man however, still carries the soul of a samurai, Gintoki Sakata, otherwise known as Yorozuya Gin-san.
