Gege Akutami’s JUJUTSU KAISEN will receive a new short voice drama titled “Jujusanpo Movie Theater“. A brand-new illustration has also been unveiled to celebrate the announcement.
The special voice drama is being produced to commemorate the release of JUJUTSU KAISEN: Execution -Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins-, which premieres on November 7. The story will depict the lively everyday life of the three main characters, this time with a movie theater theme

In addition, interview videos featuring Junya Enoki (Itadori), Yuma Uchida (Fushiguro), and Asami Seto (Kugisaki) have been released, where they look back on the anime’s 5th anniversary.

Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures has announced its acquisition of distribution rights for JUJUTSU KAISEN: Execution -Shibuya Incident x The Culling Game Begins- in select territories including UK and Ireland, EMEA, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific for the upcoming film.

The new season begins broadcasting January 2026. In “The Culling Game,” Yuta Okkotsu, the special grade jujutsu sorcerer and protagonist of “JUJUTSU KAISEN 0,” enters the fray as an executioner, turning his blade toward Itadori. “The Cursed Two,” bound by a shared mentor, ignite one of the most iconic and ferocious battles from the original manga, soon to be brought vividly to life on screen. This marks the first encounter between the two protagonists, leading to an epic clash of cursed energies.
Crunchyroll is streaming the season 1 & 2 of the JUJUTSU KAISEN anime alongside the anime film, JUJUTSU KAISEN 0. Crunchyroll describes the first arc of the season 2, the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc, as such:
The past comes to light when second-year students Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto are tasked with escorting young Riko Amanai to Master Tengen. But when a non-sorcerer user tries to kill them, their mission to protect the Star Plasma Vessel threatens to turn them into bitter enemies and cement their destinies—one as the world’s strongest sorcerer, and the other its most twisted curse user!
