The anime movie “FURERU” was released today, October 4th, accompanied by new visual to celebrate the occasion. The film is directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai, with a screenplay by Mari Okada, and character designs by Masayoshi Tanaka.
The new visuals show Aki, Ryo, and Yuta interacting in Tokyo’s Takadanobaba, where the story unfolds, alongside a mysterious creature called Fureru.

Childhood friends Aki, Ryo, and Yuta, who grew up on the same island, move in together in Tokyo at age 20. Despite different lives—a bar job, real estate sales, and fashion school—they remain connected through a mysterious telepathic power from a creature they brought from the island. Their friendship, however, faces a challenge when they uncover another hidden power of the creature, “Fureru”.
