On April 30, 2025, an extraordinary event took place on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower in Paris: a celebration of Erio & The Electric Doll, the iconic Franco-Japanese steampunk manga. Volume 1 is now available in France!

Far from a simple admiration from the Champ de Mars, this evening enabled guests to experience the magic of the work at the very heart of the Eiffel Tower, one of France’s greatest symbols. For the first time, the Eiffel Tower vibrated to the rhythm of the manga, providing a unique stage for the series’ two heroines, Ange and Erio.

Organized by Bragelonne, in partnership with Japanese publishing giant Shueisha, the evening paid tribute to a publishing collaboration as passionate as it was promising. The series’ creators were present, their eyes shining with emotion at this symbolic and public recognition of their work.

In a steampunk setting perfectly in tune with the world of manga, authors, publishers, Japanese partners and guests shared a suspended moment, celebrating imagination, creativity and the union of cultures. A magical night, between heaven and earth, confirming that in France, the impossible is always within reach.
