The studio Studio Khara has officially released the short animation shown during the “EVANGELION:30+” anniversary festival on its YouTube channel.
The special animation was originally screened during the event celebrating the 30th anniversary of the anime franchise Neon Genesis Evangelion. Fans who could not attend the festival can now watch the short film online through Khara’s official YouTube account.

Studio Khara also stated that it is working to prevent the spread of illegally recorded footage from the event that has appeared on social media. The studio encouraged fans to watch and share the official version instead.
The release allows audiences around the world to enjoy the anniversary animation while supporting the official distribution from the studio.

Neon Genesis Evangelion was directed by Hideaki Anno and produced by Gainax. It aired for 26 episodes between 1995 and 1996. Two films followed in 1997: Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth and The End of Evangelion.
The franchise later returned with the four-film Rebuild of Evangelion series by Studio Khara, released from 2007 to 2021, ending with Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time.
