During the Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri, a special event held at Makuhari Messe in Japan to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Dragon Ball, a big surprise was revealed. At the opening stage, “Exclusive Announcements! GENKIDASTAGE Part 1”, it was confirmed that Dragon Ball Super: THE GALACTIC PATROL is now in production.
A teaser visual was also revealed for the first time. It shows Goku and Vegeta wearing Galactic Patrol uniforms, standing side by side with serious expressions.

This new arc continues the story after the “Universe Survival Arc” from the Dragon Ball Super anime. It adapts the “Galactic Patrol Prisoner Arc” from the manga. Goku and Vegeta join forces with the Galactic Patrol, the galaxy’s peacekeepers, to fight a powerful new enemy: Moro, the Planet-Eater.

Dragon Ball is a famous Japanese manga created by Akira Toriyama. It was originally published by Shueisha in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1984 to 1995. The English version of the manga is available from VIZ Media.
